How to fix Assassins Creed 4 Black Flag unable to start correctly 0xc00007b error
"The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b)". If this is the error you get when trying to run black flag, this post is for you. The root of this problem is the corruption of one or more .dll files black flag requires to run. .dll files which belongs to directx is most likely the corrupted one. They can be found at "C:/Windows/system32/" if your are using 32bit windows and in "c:/Windows/SysWOW64/" if you are using a 64-bit windows. All of the files which start with d3d belong to directx. Note: if you are using 64-bit windows, there will be directx files in both system32 and syswow64.
To fix this issue, you need to replace these files with fresh ones. Re-installing directx will not resolve this issue because when the setup detects the file, it automatically skips ahead instead of overwriting. In my specific case, the problem was to a file named "D3DX9_43.dll" You will have to try removing all the directx files from the folders mentioned above and then re-install directx (Or else you will have to re-install windows). All the files that start with "d3d" belong to directx. They can be safely removed. However not all directx files start with d3d. That is the tricky part.
I recommend that you first remove all the files with "d3d" in the file-name and re-install directx, and then try to run black flag. If it doesn't work, try removing these 24 files and then re-install directx.
First try the xinput1_3.dll.
1. xinput1_1.dll
2. xinput1_2.dll
3. xinput1_3.dll
4. xinput1_4.dll
5. xinput9_1_0.dll
6. XAudio2_0.dll
7. XAudio2_1.dll
8. XAudio2_2.dll
10. XAudio2_3.dll
11. XAudio2_4.dll
12. XAudio2_5.dll
13. XAudio2_6.dll
14. XAudio2_7.dll
15. XAudio2_8.dll
17. x3daudio1_0.dll
18. x3daudio1_1.dll
19. x3daudio1_2.dll
20. x3daudio1_3.dll
21. x3daudio1_4.dll
22. x3daudio1_5.dll
23. x3daudio1_6.dll
24. x3daudio1_7.dll
Hopefully, these worked for you. If it didn't, you may have to re-install windows to play black flag. Remember to run directx installation after re-install via the web-install.

How To Remove Stuttering From Games
In this post I will point out some tips to reduce or completely remove stuttering from games. Stuttering can cause a variety of problems to a gamer varying from unenjoyable gameplay to even headaches that can ruin your entire day. The various tips that I mention here can also be found in many other posts labeled under gaming performance tweaks which also lists many other tweaks you can try to improve your frame rates/performance.
How To Run New Games On Old Computers With No Graphic Card
Graphic cards have always been a "must-have" device for all gamers since the last decade as the games have become progressively graphic intense. New games, even comparatively old games require a graphic card to run at its best resolution and graphics. Still a large majority of people do not own a graphic card, mostly because they do not want to play games or because they cannot afford it.
This post if for those people who want to play a new game but stuck with internal graphics. This post explains how to run comparatively new games on a PC which is old or doesn't have a dedicated graphics card.

How To Fix Random Framerate Drops / Lags In Games
Most of us had this issue when a perfectly running game would randomly slow down dramatically to a few fps and then rise again or never rise again. In this post I will explain how to fix this problem forever.
While there are many factors which lead to this problem the most commonly occurred factors are given in the list below. If you have an Nvidia GPU forcing a specific performance state for your graphics driver will surely help, especially if you have overclocked your card.

How To Force A specific Performance State / Disable Throttling Using Nvidia Inspector In Nvidia Graphic Cards
'P' states or performance states are different profiles for the performance of the GPU.Generally there are two or more p states. Depending on the load, the graphics driver automatically assigns the suitable performance state.
This function is used to minimize the power consumption by minimizing the wastage of GPU cycles. However in certain circumstances, the driver may behave abruptly and "lock" to a certain performance state. This causes a severe dip in performance and causes lag.
In this post I will explain how to force a specific performance state on the GPU so that you have maximum performance all the time at the cost of increased power consumption.
